How to Sign In to a Domain Joined PC
Currently, all of our Romanoff PCs are domain joined. Which means the first time you log in to a laptop or desktop PC, the computer needs to have a wired network connection at the office or connected to the wifi network "ROMANOFF_CORP" at the office. After your first login, your credentials are cached on the local machine, allowing you to sign into the PC outside of the office.
You can check your network status from the Windows 10 login screen. Here is what you should see:
With a wired LAN connection:
The network name "ad.romanoffgroup.cc" shows "connected" at the top. That is what you should see.
Note that the circled Network icon does not have any red X's or yellow triangles indicated connection issues. Also that none of the wifi networked listed below are actively connected.
With a wireless ROMANOFF_CORPNET connection:
It is ideal to sign in with a wired LAN connection, you can also connect to ROMANOFF_CORPNET. Your office manager can provide you with the password.
Here is what the network status icons mean:
No Network Connection - the PC is completely disconnected from the network.
Connected with Wireless - the PC is connected to network wirelessly.
Connected with LAN - the PC is connected to network with a wired LAN connection.
"What is my login"
