How to Search a Shared Mailbox

Outlook has a known bug that may not allow you to search for emails in that inbox. Sadly no solution has been found for this bug. Some other methods may be required.

Current Folder Method

Select the folder or inbox of the shared email you would search in by clicking on it.
Click into the search field on the top of Outlook
To the Left of the search box, you should see a field that says 'Current Mailbox' Switch that to Current Folder.
Type in the search field what you are looking for.

Online Method

1. Go to this site: https://outlook.office.com/mail/ & sign in.

2. Click Your Name and Profile picture on the top right.

3. Click on 'open another mailbox'.

4. Type in the name of the email address you are looking to search for. For example, I use RHC service

a. After that, click open.

You should now see the intended results, and you can search with the above search bar.
