How to Use the Verizon MDM App to Check for Updates
All MDM enrolled iPads are configured for automatic app updates. The iPad will regularly check in and install updates as needed. This option is on by default unless manually turned off in the settings app.
If you need an app updated immediately - you can use the Verizon MDM app to check for app updates manually.
1. Open the Verizon MDM app:

Note: If you are prompted to enable location services when opening the app, make you select "Always" for best results.
2. Navigate to the apps tab at the bottom and pull down to refresh the list. This will initiate checking for app updates, they will automatically install. Please note that apps with larger install sizes (such as Fieldwire or Procore) may not automatically install over cell data and will not complete until connected to wifi.

3. Check the app icon for the blue dot. The blue dot indicates the app has been recently updated.
