Fieldwire Unable to create PDF, creates blank page
Sometimes when working in Fieldwire the user will try export/create a PDF but will only load to a blank page.
App will become unresponsive and has to be force closed out.
Few options for fix below
- In Fieldwire tap the circle with three dots in the top right hand corner
- Tap Support
- You should have Debug tools at the bottom, tap on Delete Cache
- Restart iPad and try again
Go onto next steps if issue persist
- In Fieldwire tap the circle with three dots in the top right hand corner
- Tap Log Out
- Hard Reset iPad (hold power and home button until the apple logo appears, process different for 10th gen)
- Log back in on boot and test
If all the above has not worked then Fieldwire will need to be reinstalled
- Hold down on the Fieldwire App icon until you get a menu
- Remove/Uninstall app should be an option in this menu, select this
- Once the App Icon is gone reinstall the app via Self Service or VerizonMDM
- Notes for IT
- If on VerizonMDM may run into issues when trying to reinstall or remove
- Look in VerizonMDM and see if the device or user are in the below group

- If either are then remove them
- Fieldwire is a required app for that group so cannot always be removed
- Fieldwire is an optional for all devices in VerizonMDM so should be able to add back via VerizonMDM
- Wait about 10-15 minutes after logging back in and they should be good
